EVENT ATTENDANCE TERMS & CONDITIONS

By registering for, attending, or participating in an event organized by Columba New York Corporation (“Columba”), I acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Event Participation

I understand that Columba organizes professional events, including trade shows, sourcing meetings, B2B meetings, networking events, receptions, presentations, and related activities.

I agree to conduct myself professionally and respectfully while attending the event and to comply with reasonable event rules, venue policies, security requirements, and instructions provided by Columba or the venue.

2. Photography, Video & Media Release

I understand and acknowledge that photography, video recording, and other forms of media capture may take place throughout the event.

By attending the event, I grant Columba permission to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture my image, likeness, and participation during the event.

I authorize Columba to use, reproduce, publish, edit, distribute, and display such photographs, videos, and recordings for legitimate business, promotional, marketing, advertising, editorial, social media, website, press, event recap, and future event purposes, without additional approval or compensation to me.

3. Use of Registration & Contact Information

I understand that information I voluntarily provide during registration or participation in the event, including my name, company name, job title, business contact information, and areas of professional interest, may be collected and processed by Columba for purposes related to:

• Event registration and administration;

• B2B meeting coordination and matchmaking;

• Event communications and follow-up;

• Invitations to future Columba events and programs;

• Business development and networking opportunities; and

• Marketing and promotional communications, subject to applicable law.

Where required by applicable law, I may withdraw consent to marketing communications or unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe method provided in those communications.

4. Personal Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in an event may involve ordinary risks associated with attending an in-person gathering, including travel within the venue and participation in event-related activities.

I voluntarily assume responsibility for my own personal safety, health, conduct, and personal belongings while attending the event.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I acknowledge that Columba is not responsible for injury, illness, accident, loss, theft, damage, or other incident arising from risks inherent in or ordinarily associated with my attendance or participation, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

5. Personal Property

I am responsible for my personal belongings while attending the event. Columba is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal property to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Third-Party & Venue Responsibility

I understand that certain services related to the event may be provided by independent third parties, including hotels, venues, transportation providers, airlines, catering companies, security providers, and other service providers.

Columba is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of such third parties except as otherwise required by applicable law.

7. Event Changes

Columba reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event schedules, programming, speakers, participating companies, meeting schedules, venue arrangements, or other event details when necessary.

Columba may also postpone, relocate, modify, or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

8. Removal From the Event

Columba reserves the right to refuse admission or remove an attendee whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, threatening, harassing, or materially interferes with the event or other participants.

9. No Guarantee of Business Results

For events involving B2B meetings, sourcing, networking, or introductions, I understand that Columba facilitates connections and business opportunities but does not guarantee that any meeting will result in an order, contract, partnership, purchase, sale, or other commercial relationship.

Any commercial discussions, negotiations, agreements, or transactions between participating companies are solely between those parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to applicable conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions or participation in the event shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts located in the State of New York.

11. Acceptance

By registering for or attending the event, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

By checking the acceptance box during registration, I acknowledge and agree to these Event Attendance Terms & Conditions.
